Festival of Farmhouse Ales (FoFA) at Hill Farmstead Brewery is one of the premier beer events in the USA and this year WE had a chance to go! Of course, we made a long weekend out of the one day festival to spend more time in our favorite part of Vermont! The festival was held on August 4th on the Hill Farmstead premises. At the festival, many special vintages and variants of Farmstead® ales were tapped. Residency beers created by Tim “Shotgun” Clifford (owner/brewer of Sante Adairius Rustic Ales aka SARA) in August of 2016 were also debuted. At the event, we tried beers including the 2013 Vera Mae, 2014 Flora, The Poeticas, Arthur 2013, Clara 2016 and all 4 Residency beers.
This was a great event with a cool vibe focused on the HF beers. We enjoyed our day and it was great to be with folks from the beer scene. We look forward to FOFA 2019!
Following our usual Vermont traditions, after the Hill Farmstead, we headed to Parker Pie for pizza and more beers.
