Euro Trip

Hi everyone!

It has been a few weeks since the last post. We have been enjoying life in Europe & can’t wait to share our trip with you!!!

Since we visited many places, we figured it might be wise to share an overview with you first before diving into each city.  We started our Euro Trip by leaving from Stewart International Airport on a one-way Norwegian Airlines flight to Dublin, Ireland.  From Dublin, we flew with Aer Lingus to Milan, Italy. There, we rented a car from Hertz. We then drove a few hours north and checked in at our 60s themed Airbnb in Mulhouse.  We picked Mulhouse for its central location to the surrounding cities we wanted to visit: Freiburg, Germany; Strasbourg, France; and Basel, Switzerland. After a few days in Mulhouse, we made our way south to Switzerland. We visited Lucerne and stayed in the foothills of Mount Pilatus in Schwarzenberg, at the most amazing Airbnb.  We fell in love with this area and hope to go back soon! From Switzerland we crossed the border into Italy and flew from Bergamo to Catania on a Ryanair flight.  In Sicily, we concluded our trip by spending time visiting family, friends and beautiful cities & mountains on the eastern coastline.  Lastly, we returned back to New York through Sweden on another Norwegian Airlines flight.

This has been an unforgettable trip! We love Europe so much!

Now that you’ve read the overview of our trip, we are excited to share each city in more detail on upcoming posts.  Don’t forget to hit the subscribe button and follow @LaCatanese on Instagram to be the first to know when a new post goes live.
