Fløibanen Funicular is listed on every travel guide as one of the top things to do in Bergen.  So naturally, we added it to our list as well!  Since we had beautiful sunny days, we made it a point to take the ride and watch the sun set over the city from Mount Fløyen.   To say it was well worth it is an understatement. The view was breathtaking and the fact that we caught the sunset was a fantastic surprise!Luckily we caught this splendor on video, check it out!

The ride on the Fløibanen Funicular was really cool.  Its made up of glass so we saw the city from different latitudes.  Tickets were reasonably priced and can be bought right at the gate.  The ride itself was less than 10 minutes and the train runs about every 10 minutes.  Check out the views from the Fløibanen Funicular ride!

There is a cafe and restaurant located at this viewpoint. We of course enjoyed a nice cold Norwegian beer.
